OUR COACHES

 

HEAD COACH:  Christie Young

   Ms. Young is beginning her  22  year in education and teaches 7th grade science.  Ms. Young has been coaching the academic team for several years at BMS and came to us with experience as a coach from Ohio County Schools.   Ms. Young coaches science written assessment and the quick recall teams.

ASSITANT COACH:  Stephanie Snyder

    Mrs. Snyder is in her 21st year in education and teaches 8th grade Language Arts at BMS.  She has been involved with the academic team since 2000.  She coaches the written assessment subjects of Language Arts, Arts and Humanities and Composition for all three grades.

ASSISTANT COACH:  Tammy Townsend

    Ms. Townsend is beginning her 19th year in education and teaches 7th grade Social Studies at BMS.  She has been involved with the academic team since 2003.    We are blessed to have her as our FPS coach.  Ms. Townsend produces state and international winning BMS FPS teams!

ASSISTANT COACH:  John Gray

   Mr. Gray is beginning his 4th year in education and teaches Pre-Algebra and Algebra I in the 8th grade.  Mr. Gray began coaching for the academic team in 2019 and coaches the Math Counts Team.

ASSISTANT COACH:  Michael Markwell

   Mr. Markwell is beginning his  22 year in education and teaches 7th grade social studies at BMS.  Mr. Markwell is beginning his 1st year coaching on the academic team and will be coaching are social studies written assessment.

ASSISTANT COACH:  Anne-Courtney Feenick

  Ms. Feenick begins her 2 year teaching at BMS and teaches math in the 7th grade.  She began coaching math written assessment in 2019 for the BMS Academic Team.
